Be a Doer, Not Just a Listener

So much information is available to us in this internet age we live in.  It’s literally at our fingertips.  But what good is that information to us?  Has it made us smarter? More successful?  Happier?
I’d venture to say that much of the time, it’s done nothing more than fill our heads with more facts.
That’s not the way it should be.
So to what end do we gain more information? Surely it can’t be just to say that we now have more information rolling around in our already information overloaded minds.

Love is More Than Saying Three Little Words

What does it really mean when we say to our wives or husbands “I love you”?
Does it mean “I have a warm and fuzzy feeling towards you right this second, but it could be gone tomorrow”? Independence vs. Dependence: Both Are Good - Pt. 2

Last time we talked about how we should celebrate our independence and freedom through Christ. If you missed it, check out Independence vs. Dependence: Both Are Good - Pt. 1.
Today we’re going to talk about:

Are you anxious about things going on in your life? Your marriage? Your kids? Other relationships? Your health? Finances? Your job? The economy?
That list covers a lot of ground and I’m sure there are many, many other things going on as well.

Key Scripture for Victory

To go along with the title, we have a scripture that fits with the theme of this site.  So our slogan, or motto, is the following Bible verse:
But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
1 Corinthians 15:57 (NKJV)
Finding God’s promise in the Bible confirms His desire for victory in our lives.

A Title that Needs to be Said

Let’s address the title to this site.  As you come here, of course the first thing that I want you to think of is success and victory.
Hence “Victory” in the title.
But there are a couple of other key components that go along with it.

Well, here we go!
Things have been happening, moving, and changing in my life.  There’s been a transformation that’s been going on. And it’s good!
With this process of transformation, it’s time for a new beginning. So this is the start of a new site that is transitioning from my blog centered solely around Christian marriage.  I’ve taken some time away from MarriageVictory.com and sense that God’s leading me to create this new site to move forward with.
